Our Story

This started with one family, one diagnosis, and a search for answers that led nowhere.

Searching for medical answers late at night
The problem

Every website said something different.

When a family member was diagnosed with a vascular condition, the first instinct was to research online. What came back was overwhelming. Clinic websites promoting their own treatments. Forums full of anecdotes. Health portals running articles written by content teams with no medical background. Different doctors in Singapore offering conflicting opinions on the same condition.

The more you searched, the less you understood. And the stakes were too high to guess.

Reading medical research papers
The turning point

So the research started. One paper at a time.

Instead of trusting any single source, the search shifted to peer-reviewed medical research. Studies published by doctors and researchers from institutions around the world. Cross-referencing opinions across specialists in different countries. Each paper took time to read, but slowly, clarity emerged. Not from a website selling something. Not from marketing. From the global medical evidence itself.

That process of going study by study, claim by claim, comparing what doctors in Singapore, the US, Europe, and Asia were finding independently, changed everything.

Doctor and patient in a genuine conversation
The realization

If one family had to go through this, thousands of others were too.

Singapore deserved a health publication where every claim was traceable to peer-reviewed research, not marketing. Where the evidence was cited so you could check it yourself. Where doctor review, when added, was named and dated, not assumed.

That is what Doctors Decode became.

What we stand for

The standards behind every article

01

Every claim cited

Every medical claim is backed by peer-reviewed research from doctors and institutions around the world. Not "research shows." Actual studies, named and linked. Every claim traceable to the evidence that supports it.

02

Citation-first, not author-first

We are an editorial team, not a clinical one. We don't write from medical authority. We write from the medical literature: peer-reviewed studies, clinical guidelines, and published consensus from doctors and institutions around the world. Every claim links back to its source so you can verify it yourself. Doctor review is our next layer, currently being built with practicing Singapore specialists, and disclosed by name on every article that has been reviewed.

03

Zero editorial compromise

No clinic owns our editorial. No advertiser influences what we publish. Revenue comes from directory listings and sponsorships, never from editorial placement. Ever.

The search for trustworthy health information should not be this hard.

Read the evidence, not the marketing.
